The New Horizons Institute of Technology (NHIT) upholds a stringent anti-ragging policy to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all its students. Committed to a zero-tolerance stance on ragging, NHIT enforces rigorous measures to prevent any form of harassment or bullying. The institute conducts regular awareness programs, workshops, and counseling sessions to educate students about the negative impacts of ragging and the importance of mutual respect. A dedicated anti-ragging committee is in place to monitor and address any incidents promptly and effectively. NHIT’s proactive approach fosters a supportive and inclusive campus culture where every student can thrive and excel.

The duty of this Committee is to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Regulations as well as the provisions of any law for the time being in force concerning ragging; and also to monitor and oversee the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the institution.

The duty of the squad is prevention of raging in the Institute and to conduct an on the spot enquiry into any incidents of ragging referred to it.
